My Dior hauls
I am a big fan of Dior cosmetic. I don't know why but they just seem to be able to accommodate my needs when it comes to make-up. It all started when I first purchased a lipgoss from their Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflects range. I was hooked. Even though the colour I loved has since discontinued (geez...why?) after my 2nd tube, my craze for Dior did not stop just there. I then slowly ventured into their other lip colours, blusher and eyeshadows.
I am not a person who follows cosmetic trend closely but I can become quite "aggressive" when comes the time to addressing my needs. Hehehehehe
SO, here are my hauls this week........
Dior 5 colours Iridescent eyeshadow (#539 Leather)
I wanted a natural earthy-brownish shade eyeshadow to create a natural, understated look while giving out some young vibes. Brownish shades are very versatile, but if not careful, it can add years to your face. And this palette fits all. With the smooth shimmering texture, the shades actually make your eyes appear brighter and the look, younger!
Pro-Cheeks Blusher (#755 Catwalk Pink)
Face it, cream blush is so in right now but finding a good cream blush ain't easy. Some give you dry patches, some have weak staying power and some well, just tacky to wear. Dior Pro-Cheeks has great staying power, it lasts whole day for me. On top of that, the colour is so natural and so easy to blend. Another bonus you get is the glow. I don't know how they did it, but this blush gives you that healthy glow.
Diorskin Poudre Shimmer
I got this in Rose Diamond. This is a star! I was out and about looking for a shimmering highlighter and was first introduced to Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks. People were raving about these shimmer bricks, so I jumped on the bandwagon and had a try at the Bobbi Brown counter. I picked the Rose Shimmer and honestly, I wasn't impressed with the result when the SA put it on me. I don't know, it just doesn't quite cut it for me. Didn't get it. I then noticed later in the day that the powder that was suppose to stay on my face was all over my clothes!Anyway, just when I was paying for the Dior 5 colours eyeshadow palette, something caught my eyes. Yes, their version of shimmer bricks and boy was I lucky, I tell you, as soon as the SA put it on my cheeks, I knew the search has ended! This shimmer really lights up my face, subtly but noticeable. The texture is really smooth and fine. The individual colours are also perfect as eyeshadow. In my honest opinion, this shimmer could easily throw Bobby Brown's shimmer bricks out of the windoor!

Give me Vacation!
I know it's only been a month or so since I came back from Perth, but the "travelbug" inside me doesn't seem satisfied enough and it is now urging me for another holiday. Geez....this is gonna kill my bank account and shoot my annual leave right down to negative balance. This is bad...real bad.....
I have been flipping through travelling catalogues, planning where/when/how I want to go and reading through their itineraries over and over again. Although I knew am not going to have any big holiday anytime soon, but I just couldn't resist. This is how bad it is right now!
I think I have somehow ADDICTED to travelling. I have always love going places but never thought it would develop into an obsession. I am addicted to the feeling of being free and away from my daily routine while taking pleasure in a new adventure. I know, life like that is unreal and unless I have multimillion dollars sleeping in my bank account, I wouldn't be able to sustain.
Sigh! Vacation, you know I want you so bad!

Mad about colours!
I am so into colourful and patterned tights/legging lately. I have found that this is the perfect way to liven up a mundane and gloomy winter outfit while keeping warm.
I love colours, they are beautiful and winter wear shouldn't be all dark and gloomy right? The weather is already dull enough, why makes it even more depressing? May be it is just in New Zealand, finding a colourful winter outfit is quite a challenge. People here like dark colours
Most of my winter wears are of understated shades which given a choice, I would not buy/wear them. They just drag my spirit down. BUT, now that I could finally lay my hands on these colourful tights, it is a whole new world in my winter wardrobe!

Self confidence
Ok, I am not angry about those people anymore lah. Just not worth a single bit of my cells. I am over it, over them and life moves on.....
Anyway, I had a brief chat with Rick about pretty gals the other day. It started out when I asked him if that gal friend of mine is pretty. For me, I think she is.
His reply was "She is not bad (by the way, Rick's not bad = pretty), but her lack of confidence has compromised her look. She doesn't look "alive" to me. She won't catch my eyes on the street" (0_0)!! I was like, WAHHHHH~~~~~what a detailed and pragmatic answer!
Then he proceeded with comment that a gal doesn't need to be physically pretty to turn heads. As long as she thinks she is pretty and exudes self confidence, she will catch attention.
Makes me wonder.....is this how guys look at gals? Hmmmmm..........

No more waiting!!
I DO NOT LIKE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BAD TIME MANAGEMENT!!!!!
In fact, I kinda hate them!
I think people like that are selfish and inconsiderate. All they think about is themselves, no one but themselves! Bloody selfish!
This is not the first time, but 12383759 times (okay it means countless time!). I think I am generous enough in this already. I don’t get pissed at people for the first few times or when they have some unforeseen emergency but 12383759 times? Come on, this is real bad time management already and at the expense of others. I just cannot tolerate people like this!
Some people, when invited to come along just can never make it on time, and worst is they don’t let people know, not until you call/text them. Tell me la, would you (addressing those people here) get pissed if people treat you like that? What do you think we are? Someone who is so free to sit around and wait for you while you’re enjoying you life somewhere else is it? WE ARE NOT BACKUP!! We too have a life to enjoy if you have not already known but we are too nice to waste our time waiting!
If you can’t make it, then don’t accept the invite. If you are going to be late (I’m talking about more than hour late), then tell. This is called common sense for goodness sake!
I am done being nice to these people already. Just stay away from me, far far away. We, do not belong to the same circle!
